The 2025 International Conference on History and Cultural Heritage Protection focuses on the academic frontiers in the fields of historical research and cultural heritage protection, and is committed to building a global interdisciplinary exchange platform to promote the deep integration of academic achievements and industrial practices. The conference will be held in Guilin, covering four core areas: archaeology, history, cultural relic protection, and cultural heritage management. The conference topics are extensive and in-depth, covering topics such as the evolution of ancient political systems, comparative economic history between China and foreign countries, world cultural exchange history, and modern international relations history. Scholars are encouraged to analyze the laws of historical development from multiple dimensions; The field of cultural relic protection focuses on issues such as cultural relic restoration technology, research and development of protective materials, excavation of archaeological sites, and digital protection, exploring the integration path of technology and traditional crafts; The direction of cultural heritage management focuses on the development of cultural heritage tourism, legal protection, international cooperation, and community participation, promoting the sustainable use of cultural heritage. The conference adopts a strict peer review system, and all submissions must be unpublished English papers. After being reviewed by at least two experts, excellent papers will be included in the conference proceedings and submitted for search in international databases such as Scopus and EI Compendix. The conference format includes academic presentations, roundtable discussions, and industrial cooperation negotiations. Some conferences provide translation services to ensure efficient communication among international scholars. In addition, the conference also has special seminars, such as the International Symposium on the Protection and Restoration of Painting Cultural Relics held by the Palace Museum, which focuses on the restoration techniques of murals, thangkas and other artworks, providing practical guidance for practitioners. The conference aims to promote theoretical innovation and technological breakthroughs in the fields of history and cultural heritage protection through in-depth discussions and ideological collisions, injecting new momentum into the global cultural heritage protection cause.

All accepted papers of ICHCHC 2025 will be published in the conference proceedings, which will be submitted to EI Compendex, Scopus for indexing.

Delegates are encouraged to submit their papers/abstracts to the conference. Good quality papers will be selected by the organizing committee and Prof. Soteris Kalogirou, the editor in chief. After it, the authors will be invited to extent their papers/abstracts and submit them to ichchc@sub-paper.com. The normal size of research papers is 4,000-6,000 words excluding abstract and references.
